Sales Training Tip #314: Thankful for the Privilege to Sell

It’s Thanksgiving Day tomorrow in the United States. Let’s not forget to be thankful for the privilege to help others succeed.

This year has been one full of change and a wide number of opportunities. Regardless of where you stand in your sales performance, there is one sure thing — we can all be thankful for the privilege to be able to meet with so many people and be able to impact others. Sales is one of those unique professions where you typically find yourself interacting with numerous people both inside and outside of your company. In this position, you are not only an ambassador representing yourself, you are also an ambassador representing your company. This is something for which every salesperson should be thankful. Each day I count it an honor to meet with people, and each day I’m thankful for the incredible opportunities that such encounters brings.
