Consider yourself a “brand.” If you were on a store shelf, would you buy yourself? What can you do today to make yourself more marketable in your industry?
I’m going to offend many of you with this, but frankly, I don’t care. I believe that the state of the economy we’re in is good for everyone. It forces us to take stock in what we’re doing and why we’re doing it. It forces us to really challenge ourselves to find ways to deliver more value, to better serve our customers, and to make us better salespeople overall. We can’t control everything around us. Don’t even try. But, you can control how you choose to respond to what happens around you.
