Selling in China

I’ve recently returned from a 12-day trip to China, where I spoke on sales techniques at several conferences and worked with a major client. I cannot emphasize enough how the same sales principles I talk about in the United States apply in China and globally. No matter where you are, customers are looking for confidence. They want a relationship built on trust, and when they find it, they’re willing to pay a premium. I know it sounds basic, but in this era where it seems like everyone is fighting for a lower price, the principle still stands — trust builds profit.
