If you’re meeting a customer or a prospect in a public place, be sure to sit with your back to a wall.  This will help them focus on you by keeping their eyes and mind from getting caught up with everything going on around them.

It’s very easy to be distracted when you’re sitting in a public area.  When you’re attempting to close a sale with a customer in that type of enviornment, the last thing you need is for them to lose focus.  Remember, your goal is a sale, not a lunch date.  In addition, when you sit with your back towards a wall instead of a window, it’s easier for the customer to see you.
