How’s your sales motivation? Do others comment to you about your level of sales motivation? A quick test I ask salespeople who claim they’re highly motivated is to ask them when was the last time a customer commented to them about their passion or enthusiasm or someone in their company told them how energized they were.
If you’re truly sales motivated, other people will notice. Until you start to hear comments back from others, then you’re not as motivated as you have the potential of being. At the same time, I’m sure you’ve been with people who are as unmotivated as you could ever imagine. These are the people you need to avoid. Your time is valuable and the influence of negative people isn’t worth it. A stellar sales career is closely tied to what you are doing to protect and boost your sales motivation.

No doubt that passion sells. If one gets animated with their hands and leans into the conversation when they start talking about their company/products/services, it sends strong signals of passion and confidence to the listener. This kind of passion increases credibility. Ultimately, these things will get others talking about you.
