Sales motivation is more than just getting excited and focused. It is about having passion for what you do. Last Friday’s Wall Street Journal had a great article on Howard Schultz, the creator and CEO of Starbucks. The article recaps what we’ve all seen in him: a passion for his business that transcends everything. In the same way, sales motivation is all about being committed and connected to what you do for your customers. You might even say it borders on being fanatical. But, if you truly have passion for something, then you will be fanatical.
