This Thursday is Thanksgiving Day in the US. It’s a time to reflect on all that we are grateful for. The greatest salespeople I know also happen to be the most thankful salespeople. They are not only appreciative of their customers, but also the many people who have helped them along the way. These professionals are mindful that their success lies in not selling, but in serving.
Being thankful now is even more important than ever. Due to the changes in the economy, we need to not only be thankful for our jobs, but also for having the privilege to serve others. Make it a personal goal each week to reach out and serve someone, not for the recognition, but with the objective of being a servant to others.
