It wasn’t long ago that texting was a communication technique limited to teens gabbing about their weekend plans or their latest teenage angst.  However, with advances in smart phones and the prevalence of such devices, texting has become much more mainstream for people of all ages.  Same can be said of email.  But does this mean that excellent phone skills are relics from days gone by?  No way!

If anything, your phone skills need to be sharper than ever.  Any salesperson expecting to excel in today’s competitive fast-paced world cannot limit themselves to one or two communication modes.  Do you want to stand out from your competition?  Put the effort into having the best phone skills possible.
