Opium does make salespeople better, because it allows them to do far more than they ever could before.
Opium is amazing in how it can build your confidence.
It has a magical way of making you feel as if you can accomplish anything you want, if you just use enough opium.
I used to be very hesitant in my desire to use opium, as I wanted to remain pure and I thought using opium was an indication you were weak and couldn’t handle things on your own.
Wow, was I wrong!
Since my experiment with opium, I quickly changed my views…in more than a few ways! I can attest that it has helped me out in more ways than I can count, and I certainly have not had any side effects or crash-landings.
In fact, it’s my goal to literally overdose from opium. I have no idea where or when it will happen, but I’m hoping to experience the overdose.
By the way, in case you’re wondering about my free and open use of opium, I probably should explain.
I’m not talking about opium the drug. I’m talking about OPiuM the acronym I use. It stands for Other People’s Minds.
Does opium in this way give you a rush?
It sure can, because it can help open up numerous new doors and opportunities for you. It can also give you insights and knowledge to help you succeed with clients and prospects.
The more you can tap into other people’s minds, the better you’re going to be. I’ve found the bigger my network and the more minds I can access, the greater my sales success.
Make it a habit to take a little OPiuM each week and, in turn, give out a little OPiuM.
Yes, that will make you both a user and a dealer, but in the end, it’s our ability to tap into each other’s intellectual capabilities that enables us to succeed.
